Welcome to the Flickr Monthly Challenge!Join us for a new theme every month, where photographers of all levels can submit their best shots and connect with the community!
For October's photo challenge, it’s all about “Black and White Photography” Remember to TAG your submissions with #FlickrPhotoChallenge and #BlackandWhite for better visibility.
How It Works:
A new challenge theme will be announced on the first (business) day of each month.
Submit up to five photos per month that fit the theme.
Tag your submissions with the challenge theme for visibility. (#BlackandWhite)
Our Flickr Community Team and moderators will review submissions and announce a winner at the end of the month.
The winner receives a year of Flickr Pro and a print of their choice and a feature on Flickr's socials.

Last updated: March, 2025Thank you for joining Flickr Monthly Photo Challenge! This is an official group managed by the Flickr Community team to celebrate your photography on Flickr.
We want to expand the reach of our Flickr members, but respect your rights to your works, so by adding your photos to this group, you will be granting us non-exclusive right use your image/s to promote your work and Flickr on our social media platforms, the Flickr blog, newsletter and other emails that Flickr sends. We will credit you and link to your Flickr account where possible.
We use Flickr’s community guidelines to ensure that this group remains a space where everyone feels welcome to share their work and their stories. Thank you for thinking of your fellow Flickr members and helping us uphold these guidelines.
