Christmas is less than a fortnight away and nature here in Ostwestfalen is like early Spring. We used Sunday afternoon for an extended hiking tour around home waters of the river Werre in the Löhne area.

Lights last glow for the day at Montana's beautiful Seely Lake.
This sunset was unfortunately enhanced by wildfire smoke. May we have clearer skies this summer.

I was visiting Cleveland, and thought I'd go out for some night photos of the city. I was pleasantly surprised when I received a bonus treat in the form of a nice sunset!
..On a calm Loch Ness, taken from Dores, Scottish Highlands.
Twenty minutes earlier it was totally overcast and raining.
Away up west for a couple of weeks :)
Some evenings we do strike gold, like here with some of the peaks of Glacier Park catching the setting sun. Perfect way to end a wonderful day.

Our first sunset for a while ( it has rained every night ) and what a spectacular one nature gave us
The lighthouse was a bit too far away from the sunset so I placed it a bit closer
I fixed it by shooting a double exposure
It got a pale ghosty look by doing this
It suits pretty well since there is a huge cloud coming from Great Britain towards our west coast, so we will probably feel the rain tomorrow
It was indeed a lovely sunsetchase 😁
