More Equitable Contests?

Congratulations to the winners of all flickr contests.
I just have one question left.
I've noticed that in the last few contests only those with a PRO account win.
Is there a chance that someone who doesn't have a PRO account can win one of the contests?
If so, should they put it in the contest requirements that participants must have a PRO account?
Could a contest be launched for those who don't have a PRO account and such advanced photography equipment and software, i.e. talented amateur photographers?
I ask these questions with great respect to the organizers.
I don't ask them for self-promotion purposes. I just want more photographers to have a chance to win a prize.

What makes you think that YBS is just for users with Pro accounts?
The rules clearly states "HOW TO ENTER: No purchase necessary. To participate in the Contest, you must have a Flickr account. "
So, you don't have to purchase a Pro account. All you need is a Flickr account.
I don't think the fact that the winners had Pro accounts had anything to do with any "filtering" from the flickr staff or the judges.
Besides, Pro accounts does not indicate that the user is a professional photographer. It just means that the user pays for the perks of a Pro account.
I am in no way a professional photographer (some would even argue on the talented amateur photographer part) but still have a Pro account, just to support this site which I have been enjoying for many years.

Hi, thanks for your question! In each contest we've had non Pro members included in our winners selection. What may be causing some confusion with that though, is that one of the prizes they receive is a year of Pro. So once the winners receive their prizes, their accounts are also all upgraded to Pro - or if an existing Pro member, we add a year to their existing membership. So while the winners may look like all Pros now, in many cases, that's because we have upgraded them after winning. When choosing winners for our contests, we do not factor in whether they are Pro or Free members. If you have any other questions about that though let us know in the thread. Thanks!
Thank you very much for your kind reply.

I don't think [www.flickr.com/explore] or any contests are purely transactional or favors Pro accounts.
Keep shooting what you feel - we don't know what touches so many millions of users - and it will come.
