Welcome to day twelve of our birthday photo challenge. Today's theme is MEMORIES!

Make sure to tag your photos for today with #Flickr21Challenge AND #memories Just a reminder, you can catch up on missed dates and we won't be 'checking' dates to themes as we are in a lot of different timezones. Do your best to keep to the right theme per day but feel free to catch up if you missed any days!

"זִכָּרוֹן"
A candid glimpse snapped during the 75th Commemoration of the Liquidation of the Krakow Ghetto. The Chief Rabbi of Galicia, Edgar Gluck, caught shedding a tear remembering all the victims and the lucky survivors of the Liquidation.

Create memories, good ones, even better with others:
Don’t condone but not against witchcraft/devil worship, these are just friends doing dress up in UK (I think).

This was taken about 14 years after we married and someone said to my dear wife, does your wedding dress still fit? and she confidently said, as a matter of fact it does. So I reached for the camera and lights and a shoot proceeded and here's the proof. This was taken in 2011. I wonder if it still fits? wait out.......

Here is a peaceful place where you can keep your relatives in memory.
Unfortunately memories are often painful: December 6, 2007, 00:53: the tragedy of the Thyssenkrupp steelworks in Turin occurred. The workers involved in the fire were 8, only 1 survived.
The workers involved were:
-Antonio Schiavone, 36 years old, died on site, December 6
-Roberto Scola, 32 years old, died on December 7;
-Angelo Laurino, 43 years old, died on December 7;
-Bruno Santino, 26 years old, died on December 7;
-Rocco Marzo, 54 years old, died on December 16;
-Rosario Rodinò, 26 years old, died on December 19;
-Giuseppe Demasi, 26 years old, died on December 30;
-Antonio Boccuzzi, 34 years old, injured and survived.
Mural in memory of the victims of the fire of 6/12/2007 in the Thyssenkrupp plant in Turin. The mural - created by artists from the associations Monkeys Evolution, Artefatti, II Cerchio e le Gocce, KNZ who collaborate with the MurArte project - was created in agreement with the Legami d'Acciaio Association which brings together colleagues and relatives of the victims, thanks to the contribution of the City of Turin and the approval of the Superintendency for Architectural and Landscape Heritage of Piedmont and the State Archives of Turin.

A thought for the 35 people who died, the 340 injured, and their families.

Over the last 25+ years I have been doing occasional music gigs at my home parish as an amateur musician, mainly on my flute but also using my other instruments such as the tinwhistles, recorders and my bodhrán drum. It all started with the local children's church choir, who recently celebrated their 30th (+2 because of the pandemic) anniversary. I was invited to play my flute as part of those celebrations, and received this bouquet of flowers as a thankyou for my musical contribution. Needless to say, I have lots of great musical memories from my collaboration with them!
