My name is Linda Voltaire, I am from Sweden and I have been a travel addict the last 15 years or so. I have visited around 50 countries and in November 2016 me and my boyfriend took off for the trip of our lives. Three months in South and Central America. A dream coming true and a trip that changed our lives in many ways.

Hello Group,
Iain here, living in Glasgow Scotland.
Do significant travel due to my job, mainly EU, US and South East Asia. Found myself sitting in the hotel room watching foreign TV for the majority of the time, my solution - travel with my camera. As a result I am out and about rubbing shoulders with the locals looking for that unusual shot out of the norm.
Like researching new locations for new and exciting places to shoot.
Typically travel with my either my Sony A600 (Zeiss 17mm - 70mm) or my preference Nikon D7200 (Nikor 20mm - 300mm and Nikor 10mm - 18mm).
The next couple of weeks will take me to France, USA, Singapore and Shanghai. Regular traveller to Singapore and Shanghai if anyone needs some assistance or guidance on where to go.
Happy flikr-ing.
Iain

Hi all, just found this group here, just an amateur with basic gear, lucky enough to get to see some of the world in the last few years. I live in Hampshire, UK, and my favourite photography locations are Norway, Iceland and The Netherlands.
My name is Vincent, a 40 something guy currently living in Brussels, Belgium. I always had a passion for travelling but since I discovered Asia a decade ago has been the focus of most of my travel. Glad to be able to share and explore some pictures with the group.
HI, I'm Matt and a total amateur living near Portsmouth, England. Whenever I go for a walk or travelling my Nikon is with me, much to the annoyance of my partner...lol.

Hello everyone! I am Geneviève and I live in La Malbaie, Charlevoix, Québec (Canada). I love traveling, but can only do so once a year, during my vacation time in the summer, as I am a teacher. My yearly vacation is usually the high point of the year for me, which is why I'm a little sad now at not being able to travel this year. I will try to satisfy myself with the thousands of travel photos I have taken in previous years. Looking forward to getting to know all of you!

Hello everyone,
I have been travelling for pretty much most of my adult life, as and when time permits.
My last trip saw me travel through Morocco into the Western Sahara, No Mans Land, Mauritania, Senegal then into The Gambia where i got stuck for 5 months because of Covid. Eventually I had to leave my Jeep there and fly home. Eventually i will return for it and either head on to Sierra Leone or Mali. Or, just drive back to Europe?

Hi, I'm Stephen,
I live in one of the outer suburbs of London but we are in Kent, a 4o minute train journey into the center of town.
We are travel addicts, ever since my first trip to Europe as a child, I had the bug and now aged 59, that has not changed.
We "me and my wife Frances" have traveled around the world and been to all the places we ever wanted to go, the world seems a much smaller place now!!!!
We spend more time not traveling so far and are visiting the places that are much lower on our bucket list, a gem that we have been back to is the isle of Madeira we must have been 30 times+ and is only a 4x hour flight, this is our go-to place to get away from it all.
Regions we like the most are central and south America, the west coast of the states, and southeast Asia
My camera of choice is my trusty Canon 70d but have a huge array of cameras which I use depending on my mood and where I'm gong, my camera is always with me and usually my dog Archie, who is a tremendous help when trying to do wildlife photography lol
Well, that's us, we would love to hear your comments and experiences, happy travels everyone.

Very interested in seeing your pictures of Columbia, a place I have always wanted to go to but is always seen as a personal security risk, and problems getting travel insurance.
So at the moment, happy to see pictures of other people's experiences.

Hello . I'm Solange, from Rio (Brazil). I am an academic and travel mostly due work purposes. But I enjoy photography and therefore collected a few over the years. Now that I am alone (son studing elsewhere, and widowed) I am back at my hobbies, which consists basically in arranjing and rearranjing the house (ah ah), reading and ... photographing! Thanks for having me. It has been fun.

Hello Everyone,
I am Anand, from Bangalore, India.
I love cars, road trips and nature. I spend my weekends driving to far away places and photographing cars, landscapes and wildlife. I am also intrigued by the sunrises and sunsets, and I am learning the craft of capturing the magic of light during these golden hours.
Nice to meet all of you!

Hi all, I'm an italian self-taught amateur photographer who likes so much to travel (and to shot of course!!!)
Hello everyone. Like all here, travelling is one of my core passions, and have been creating Flickr albums since I went digital. I'm lucky to own a Leica M11 (progression up from film M6 via M9) with my original '90 prime lenses). Rather than focus all my effort to create the one perfect shot, I like to capture things that inspire me as I go. Here are some examples: (a month in Morocco) www.flickr.com/photos/john_hinde/albums/72177720297825033/, road trip down through Albania www.flickr.com/photos/john_hinde/albums/72177720300533362/, and Myanmar www.flickr.com/photos/john_hinde/albums/72157625804053013/ . Hope to see your work soon too! Happy travelling! John

Hello My name is Jose Dasso Traveling all over the the beautiful USA in one of those travel Vans, since my retirement 2 years ago.
My official residence is not the west coast of Florida in the city of Sarasota.
I have lived in the USA since the end of 1976; I am married and have two daughters, an immigrant from northern Spain. I have been fascinated with the beauty of God’s creation all my life, the mountains, nature, rivers, oceans, wildlife. I can see a designer in all of this. To me it is more than an explosion in the Universe. Through photography I can express all these beautiful creations; through photography I can express mankind, cultures, expressions and creation. Photography is to me a way to relax. It is a way to express myself beyond any cultural or language barriers, it is a way to express how fragile life is and more importantly it is a witness of a loving creator, a loving designer.

Hello, I am Rachel, from Southern California, USA. I also have been known to call New York City, Seoul, and London homes as well.
I finally have a job that allows me to take ample holidays and travel a bit, so I hope to contribute more travel photos. Just this month (March 2024) I went back to London and also added Scotland to my travel map.

Hi - I used to be on Flickr a lot and the stats say I've had 55 Million views. I direct TV shows like Star Trek, Gotham, Spartacus, Orphan Black - and I do that with a huge crew, but I love photography as it can be just me - and maybe one or two subjects. I moved from LA to the tiny Caribbean Island of Curacao after covid as a change of pace and co-created a travel app called the OTRA GUIDE. It is centered around Curacao right now, but were are about to branch out to other countries - and it has a lot to do with Photography and Cinematography
I would LOVE IT - if you downloaded the app for free below - give it a whirl and give me feedback on my page. Cheers TJ Scott

Hi everyone,
I’m Zack Kev from New York, USA. I’ve been passionate about traveling for years and have visited a mix of cities and off-the-grid places across Europe and Southeast Asia, mostly for work but often extending trips to explore with my camera. Photography started as a way to make these travels more meaningful, and now I rarely leave home without my Nikon D7200.
I enjoy capturing street life, landscapes, and those small details that tell a bigger story. Looking forward to connecting with others here, sharing photos, and discovering new places to add to my list.
