“Unlimited” yes, “Unbounded” no. Here are some guidelines for members and moderators:

• The main subject of the photo must clearly be architectural. Incidental buildings do not suffice.

•Engineering is not architecture. No machines, vehicles, bridges, dams, constructions that cannot be occupied.

• Some things are specifically allowed: the Eiffel Tower, bridges with architectural character; i.e., London’s Tower Bridge, Venice’s Bridge of Sighs, Florence’s Ponte Vecchio, lighthouses that could house a keeper.

• Art is not architecture. So not photos where a mural or sculpture is the subject. Stained glass windows are ok, since they were clearly intended by the architect. Incidental murals and statues do not disqualify a photo if the subject is architectural; e.g., church interiors.

• No AI generated images! Please help your moderators with titles and geotags, especially with urban abstracts.
