No Moderator?
Seems we're getting images that don't fit the rules of the group. As this is, for many, the most important group on Flickr, how has this happened?

There is indeed no moderator, but there are three admins. Not sure how active they are, but they have not recently uploaded any photos to their stream.
This is a link to an other group that lacked an active morderator and how that was solved.

This of course requires someone wanting to do the job...

Yeah it's a trifle more complicated than it seems. I've taken over a couple of groups whose admins had disappeared, but if Flickr staff deem that the admin is active on flickr in any sense then they won't hand admin status to anyone else. If the current admin is active then the best bet is to reach out to them and ask to be made mod or admin. From a quick glance there's one admin whose last upload was in Nov. 2024 and faved something as recently as Jan. 2025 so probably wouldn't be considered inactive by Flickr.
If the group do have an active Admin, give them more time.
Remember that the Admins and the Moderators are human beings, and they have a life to live. In other words, they need to eat, sleep, have a shower, they may have a full-time job to go to, shopping to do, families to see, travel, or even could be ill and staying in bed to recover.
The group's Admins or Moderators, assuming if still active, can't simply stay at their computers 24/7 without a break, not even to go to the loo, and pressing the F5 key, to refresh the page every 15 seconds, to watch for the wrong photo that break the group rules being posed, and delete it the moment it gets posted.
Give them time.
