Abandoned and Forgotten places, cars or things that have been left to rot, abandoned and neglected.

There’s something deeply poignant about abandoned places and things that I’m sure we can all see and appreciate, Urbex photographers or otherwise.
For one, it becomes a creative outlet for visual storytelling. It also allows us to get a glimpse of a life or point in time that has passed.
In a nutshell, this type of photography isn’t just about going to places to have a look around or search for things and take random snaps. It’s more about capturing the mood and character of a place, and hopefully, get some clues on its forgotten history.

The discussion area is there to be used. Please feel free start a new topic on anything related to Abandonment.

Note: to avoid having your photos deleted from the pool, please read our rules below - your pictures could be removed without warning during busy periods - so please read carefully before posting.

One more thing, please take a moment to comment on a photo in the pool. This thing is about feedback and discussion more than it is about 'Hey, look what I did'. Optional, but highly encouraged. Post a picture? Leave a comment. Just doing this one, simple, quick thing will improve the quality of cross education immensely. Note a technique, offer an idea, give compliments - anything, really. Just be nice. We're all about civility here.
Lastly, please do not pull and resubmit your photos to the pool just to bump their position. We saw it the first time. Go out and capture something different for us. :)
