Hi! I'm a self-taught photographer born and residing in the city of Bahía Blanca, Argentina. I started taking photos when I was fourteen years old. My art varies between conceptual photography, self-portraits, macro and animal photography. My work is also strongly traversed by mental health. I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and in addition to transmitting information about this through my photographs it is since 2017 that I give talks in various institutions on the subject, in order to raise awareness and question existing stigmas.
I mainly dedicate myself to teach initial photography classes.
I am currently pursuing the Education Sciences degree at the Universidad Nacional del Sur.
I used flickr in my begginings in photography and now I'm back because I needed a place to publish my full stock, and here it seemed a nice platform for that.

Good question. There's no single thread that lists out criteria per se, but our overview page explains the group's overall theme of the group. But you bring up a good point, perhaps we ought to have a thread that gives people a reference guide, even though ultimately whether a photo gets accepted or not is a judgment call by the admods.

Best regards from Wuppertal, Germany! Most of you know our famous "Schwebebahn" (suspension railway). I am in my 50's and take photos since more than 40 years. During that time many of my Pics began concentrating on details and small impressions. I discovered that in a magical way an atmosphere can be found in small particles.

I've always liked photography since I was a kid. I started with courses to understand how to photograph, and I got to have my first Nikon.
Photography allows me to travel, another passion of mine, so to remember memories of the places visited and the people who travel with me. Looking at the photos, many memories come back to mind that keep the days alive when everything seems a problem.
I would like to start the post-production practice; even though I feel like a beginner.
The moment of shooting is always with me even when I don't have a camera but I think of how I would have liked to take the emotion of the moment.

A soulful image when touches one’s heart, makes it flutter on a journey of imagination and exploration. And sometimes stirs a change within… even if that stir is momentarily. That’s what excites and astonishes me about photography. Everyday using the camera as a medium, I’m able to freeze simple moments most of us tend to overlook. And it is the simplicity of those moments, that the very essence & beauty of life is present. Which is probably why Photography as an Art Form is one of my personal favourite. And yet, every genre be it Advertising to Candid, Portraiture to Landscape & Fine Art, equally incites in me an eagerness to create something new. All I need is a camera - any camera for that matter; to quench my thirst for this passion.

use to have a canon a1 .the 24 mm was so good! now i use a canon digital mk2 purchase 7 years ago with a 24/70.the probleme is this objectif is not clear anymore . send twice to fix .same again.my last purchase a leica compact.beautifull camera.until i discover black point marks ....this camera is 3 years old! i love photos.i take only people. rarely scenery. people life is intriguing and subject to attitude and expression.
