Discussion: This is a political, protest, news, and cultural discussion and debate format open to everyone in the world and seeking a diversity of opinions from our group members; where all the group members, moderators, and administrators are the columnists, editorial writers, and photojournalists. We seek a global membership to facilitate our discussions, debates, and understanding of one another. Please join us in our blog to share your views of headline news of the world we share together. The group Administrators and Moderators may act to protect members from identity theft, harassment, spamming, personal threats, trolls, and other excesses. Please contact a member of the group staff if you have any questions.

All group members (Columnists and Photojournalists) participating in the group discussion will be required to follow the "Global Photojournalism; Politics, News, Protest, and Culture" group discussion Code of Conduct (COC):

1. Recognition that words are a powerful weapon for both good and evil. We refuse to allow spurious personal allegations or innuendos to be used as a weapon to shut down another member’s right to express his or her views, or to misrepresent, persecute, or drive another member out of the group.
2. Recognize the Code of Conduct is to facilitate free exchange of ideas and it applies only to the group discussion format.
3. No spamming the discussion format.
4. No attacking another member’s race, religion, national origin, gender, language, and/or sexual orientation.
5. Abiding by Flickr’s definition of a public group.
6. Focus our discussions on Politics, News, Protest, and Culture. These are broad based categories and should provide numerous opportunities for a large variety of discussion topics.
7. No bringing trolls into the group.
8. Discussion topics are for politics, news, protest, and culture; and not to be used to single out Administrators, Moderators, or Members in any manner.
9. The staff (Administrators, Moderators, or equivalents) reserves the right to remove/ban anyone who violates the group Code of Conduct without warning or notification and the staff reserves the right to amend the Code of Conduct.
10. All submitted pictures must be categorized as "Public" & "Safe". In addition, they must be taken on or after 1/1/2000.

DawnOne,
I'm not sure why yours was denied. David or I might have accidentally denied it w/o checking it, like we normally do. Sorry about that.

Tomas, which picture was denied? I cannot view any of your pics right now.

Remember that all pics must be categorized as "Public" & "Safe".

There are some really good pics that certain users submit, but I cannot approve them,
because they're classified as either "Private" or "Family & Friends".
