6. Protesters Disrupt LA City Hall Amidst Fallout

The protest on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 calls for two Los Angeles Council Members to resign after an audio tape was leaked on October 9 about four members making racist comments towards Black and Oaxacan people during a meeting about redistricting. The LAPD called unlawful assembly and ordered the crowd to disperse by 12pm. Despite being the fourth major scandal in City Hall since the past three years, this may go down as the worst in the city's political history.

7. Rebel for life

The picture shows a little kid wearing a jacket saying „Rebel for life“ and the Extinction Rebellion logo. This is something that usually adults wear. The kid is sitting on a back of a woman with a cardboard heart identifying her as Granny for Future. The kid shakes hand with another granny for future. The 100 sign is symbolising her demand for a speed limit in Germany. Germany is one of two countries without a speed limit world wide. Picture was taken during a weekly gathering called Klima after work (climate after work) in front of the Ministry of Economy and Climate Protection in Berlin, 01.07.2022

Freedom Convoy 2022

A heartfelt “Thank You” sign graces the downtown Ottawa streets as several thousand protestors rally to support the truckers in the Freedom Convoy protest.
Hundreds of long-haul truckers from across Canada drove up to 5000 kilometres to converge at Parliament Hill, demanding that the cross-border COVID-19 vaccine mandates be dropped.
The protest in Canada soon inspired similar protests across the globe, as countries struggled to move forward in recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic.
