You & COVID-19

admin
Veee Man Posted 5 years ago
The Coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted everyone's life.

Some people are taking risks & still going to work, while others are working from home. Children are also homebound, due to schools closing.

Many businesses are temporarily closed. Every country's economy is not doing too well right now.

A number of group members have taken some excellent fotos of the pandemic.

We were wondering how it has affected you.
Are you working at the office, or from home?
How about your friends & family?

I did link The Algemeiner, though.
As you might notice Israel is far more evil than even you admitted.
We know, because Belgium is home to the biggest anti-Israel Jewish community in the world.
I already told you.
You liked it.
The next step is to klick my follow button*.
The Algemeiner, Islamophobia all over.... oozing out of your screen... even towards their own Palestinians... who would, they, maybe like to be inoculated if they histoicaly would not have died from gazacaust like insertions already, to deep underneath their skin... intramuscular..

*Some of the blacks wearing a mask, are Raccoons. They did not make it to Explore yet.
Be aware that since the 1900s, Sambo was identified with older, docile blacks who accepted Jim Crow laws and etiquette; whereas coons were increasingly identified with young, urban blacks who disrespected whites .

Today's quote:
Whisper to me softly, breathe words upon my skin.
No one's near and listening, so please, don't say goodbye.

under the jurisdiction of the Hague tribunal.

That court only takes cases the country already handled to it's own dissatisfaction of the poor result... so, one can hardly argue the country is to blame.
Rightwingers always attribute more power to a single entity than democracy allows. That is why we do not like them.
They assume a military hierarchy which is not there.

We do not allow politicians to comment on medical science.... and the soldiers only like our minister of war because of her giggles.
She copied the strategy from Uschi.

We send Uschi to foreign leaders to diplomatically take some blame, in spite of her not having any say regarding... euh, patents on skins or tails of microbes.... you name it.

Where I live, only 40 'students' recently arrested for senseless violence have mentioned covid to talk themselves out of it. The government supports them by refusing to advice a lockdown or even a curfew during times somebody could still be awake. 50 000 students are being intimidated for spontaneously having acted accordingly when the Chinese mentioned that there might be a problem with an infectious something.
We try to keep the gangs busy by talking a lot of bullshit to them on the internet. They are addicted to controversy... as long it is fake.
The hooligans thank the nurses for joining them... probably because they got bored with all those sick people.

I'll be back after a while, to comment that I got the virus and survived. My father is not. He was 96 years old, he was a strong and healthy man. The caregiver did not say that her husband had the virus. I got it from him. It was sad to leave him alone at this time.

the situation here in Brazil only gets worse. many dead, a generalized confusion in the federal and state governments. Willingness to escape, but where to?

Could not take it any longer.

The spokesperson of the Malle vaccination centre says he often has to disappoint his co-workers because there is not much to do.
The centre has 1.400 people employed . That is roughly 10% of the population.
It is open on Sundays.

Geert Vanden Bossche, PhD, DVM, is a vaccine research expert.

- Geert Vanden Bossche is an ordinary veterinarian. In his country there is no official abbreviation of his profession. He however is allowed to use a foreign title as long it is not presiding his name.
- If we are worried about dangerous variants emerging, it is much riskier to allow the virus to spread between unvaccinated people
- If coronavirus variants emerge for which the current vaccines offer little to no protection, the vaccines can be reformulated to be a better fit, much like the annual flu vaccine
- (Dr.*) Vanden Bossche proposes the use of a new type of vaccine based on natural killer cells, which he claims he is working on but for which there is no evidence

As another sad fascist, living a fantasy life of hate and delusion, you obviously have no room for empirical evidence, and therefore no room for science or history - which both threaten to destroy your fragile identity.
Your dependence on the same tired toxic medieval myths as the Nazis is, sadly,.no longer surprising in the post-Trump era, when Truth is in danger from fascism again. But it is just as disgusting and evil.

All in my family has been vaccinated. Vaccinations here in East Tennessee are now open to anyone over the age of 12...no waiting. The bad new is I don't think we'll reach 50% vaccinated due to misinformation.
Viejito Posted 4 years ago
I have been fully vaccinated for a couple of months; got my first shot on the day of the failed coup d’état...
Poza Proza Posted 4 years ago Edited by Poza Proza (member) 4 years ago
99% of our 65+ are vaccinated.
There is no vaccine hesitancy to speak of.... to the contrary, many people try to get vaccinated before their turn (by volunteering to help).
Invitations are strictly personal.... they can not be sold.

Poza Proza Posted 4 years ago
Taking into account that 20 to 30% achieved some form of immunisation the natural way, our biostatistical models suggest the R number can more easily be kept below 1 from 40% vaccinations onward.
We have past that mark.
An Indian was spotted at a few kilometres from my place though.
We perform less in vitro tests than the UK... so there might be more.
It is not clear yet if the 70% mark will be enough to keep ic beds at a level that the medics can go on a well deserved vacation.
The number of available beds have bin the most important argument up to now.
The government did not promote the knowledge that vaccination is the best way to avoid blood clots, because that argument is based on selfishness rather than protecting the well-being of the community.

It would be nice if someone could answer the last question directed to me, about the excess mortality.
You can tell them 'the BEAST' has send you.

Eurostat Excess mortality
7m-13m excess deaths worldwide during the pandemic -The Economist.
2020 saw most excess deaths since World War Two -BBC

CDC estimates that influenza was associated with only 61,000 deaths during the 2017–2018 influenza season. That was higher than any season since the 2009 pandemic but much lower than covid, which kept ,making victims after the flu season was over.
It is intellectual dishonest to only count covid deaths during the flu season because the covid pandemic had not really started yet. and lasted much longer than such a season.

Thanks
Poza Proza Posted 4 years ago
The Excess mortality disinformation is still there in that group.
People who are being mislead have the right for this to be debunked.
You are all complicit for letting it happen.

If you let help.flickr.com/contact know that this proven disinformation is there and could do harm to gullible people, maybe staff will give them the BAMCorp treatment...

I have not reported the last 3 messages yet.
I'm still waiting for a reaction from Staff to the other ones.

If I remain the only one taking an issue, I'll better leave Flickr myself.
Viejito Posted 4 years ago
If they think it is a matter of difference of opinion, they will not act, but if you can make it clear that they are spreading malignant disinformation which is provably untrue and could do damage, they may have to act.

The reason why the FlickrCentral admin closed your thread, I think, is because he cannot imagine that people would look for CoViD information on Flickr and he figured that your diatribe was, therefore, moot.
Poza Proza Posted 4 years ago Edited by Poza Proza (member) 4 years ago
That Admin allowed me to make my point. I have nothing to add there. I was not banned.

I have send my right to answer to London Dada by mail, to give him a chance to correct his mistake.
Since he complained of not receiving my opinion on his manipulated Excess death statistics I proposed to publish the above BBC link on my behave and reminded him that US and EU lawmakers insist that platforms take action not only against intentional disinformation but against misinformation as well.

I had nothing to do with that. I do not make news.

The third wave of COVID is now sweeping the globe. In the USA the most unvaccinated are male Republicans, especially older male Republicans who are the most vulnerable. My state of Tennessee now has the highest infection rate. Nothing more than suicide to follow a political-religious cult...but not surprising if they will follow a political Con-Man to commit an insurrection on a baseless lie.
Poza Proza Posted 4 years ago
The number of our infections dropped by 50% this month.
The least vaccinated communities are
Asse (only 15,85% of the population got a booster)
Liedekerke (17,10%),
Affligem (17,08%),
Opwijk (18,32%)
and
Merchtem (18,71%)
They will have to double their efforts and keep going during the holidays.

A judge ordered one intensive care unite to reopen.
The medics had figured they deserved a vacation (since none of their patients were vaccinated).
Refusing medical care is punishable by law.
Overall, the ICs are at 35% of their capacities.
Empty beds are a huge economical cost.
Poza Proza Posted 6 months ago Edited by Poza Proza (member) 6 months ago
Mind that comparing countries is not possible, because they document differently.
There even is a huge difference when comparing Belgian regions.

Example Second wave
Brussels: 10,1% died
Flanders: 56% died (all the 85+ cases. There was no other dead cause in this age category... and that is why we are destined to live forever now.)
covid-19.sciensano.be/sites/default/files/Covid19/COVID-1... (table 1, page 9)
In short: when you are in an elderly home
1)without sign of life: you had covid
or
2) Still alive: no covid

Medics claimed to be perfectly cable of detecting Covid without tests.
Our health minister agreed.

PS: The Brussels hospitals reported almost no Muslims. A nurse explained that they live more hygienic.

The COVID-19 threat definitely is frightening.

Some other worrisome aspects:

- People who assume & insist that vaccines are bad for everybody
- People who think that no healthy people died from Covid-19

I don't know the origins of the coronavirus.
However, one thing that concerns me is the possibility of a
lab or pharmaceutical company creating something similar in the future.
