I'm bored today.
Drop one image per week. You'll get somebody to say something about it. Once this gets full of shit, it will be canned. Enjoy. You don't need to be too constructive, but you know, some insults are cool, and some not.
Don't post your image until someone has posted a review of the last image in the thread. If you post an image before the previous image is reviewed, your image may be deleted. Also, post medium sized images only. Small images will be deleted.

eh...karanka what's the deal? deliberate snapshottery, crass exposure, cheesy flash and 'seemingly' arbitary composition - I like it!!
However, if someone hadn't seen your photostream they might think you were uploading your holiday photos from the early nineties taken with a disposable camera.

If you are trying to be arbitary then it's not really arbitary anymore, is it?
oi, what's the yawn for??
I wasn't taking the piss - you lot are so tetchy!!
I really genuinely like it!

sharp and fast mr.karanka - and correct
I mean it is soft and unexciting - it's a mobile phone shot, they are very soft. I still quite like it though in a kind of moronic way.
I didn't mean correct as in predictable and conservative (you weren't really worried about that were you!?)

I'm a feet fetichist, but I hate painted toenails. Thumbs down!
EDIT: Man... the thread's fast! My comment was about pH's photo

@ φ [浪人]why is that boot on the bench!!
Loads of nice details - and of course, legs.
Were you fixing the light fittings at the time?

actually, I've copyrighted that phrase - you can borrow it if you want though.
@karanka - what's she holding?

Yeah, Barbara, I puzzled over that one for a while in the queue. It's different, and interesting, and i wanted to promote it on that basis. It didn't hold my attention, though...the flatness probably did it in.

I guess it's not massively exciting but viewed large it is really beautiful and intriguing. I reckon a massive print would look cool (much more than I can say for my mobile phone pictures).

@elias: not sure about the very right, the scene surrounding the doors is cool, including the 255 and beyond

@ elias
I like the fact everyone is waiting. It looks kind of frustratingly inert, like they are all just pacing back and forth.

Surely - neat place it seems. Not much going on, action wise or comp wise, just everyone standing around and not even arranged in a particularly neat way. I like the colors, blue outside, lots of repeating brown and red on the inside.
@ chrisproject: and i like breasts
stef_R, very nice! it sort of reminds me of a Winogrand picture, the one on the cover of his awesome 'Figments' book. Splendid suburbia 'dullness'..
I would like the kid to be further from the garden under, to 'bounce' out a little more from the picture.. And maybe I would crop a slice from the left to have less of those uninteresting clouds and center the frame more on the red car and kid. Cheers

stef: That blank left side messes things up a little for me, but it's not a dealbreaker. I think that's a cool shot.

Love that stef. I actually like the left side with that ominous looking wall.

The left side gives you the two roads that lead towards the viewer and away into the distance though. A lot of the success of this shot for me is the three roads and their meeting point, the lampost and the car. The relationship between the child and the car is strange and that's the thing that makes me imagine some kind of story. Interesting because at first I liked it's calmness and normality.

I've seen this pic several times in different groups, and it always jump to my eyes. I like it, it seems a scale model. But I agree with kramer about the left side. That wall is like out of place there...

Yeahh !!!
The best thread on flickr is back. I've been complaining so much that I quite feel guilty. Well, after all, why shall I feel guilty if it has been closed by someone else (I won't say by Karanka 'cause it'd be unkind :p).
I'm so glad that I'll submit a picture for the first time. Please, hit hard, I want the old atmosphere back :)

PS: thanks Karanka for opening it again :)
