Quick note... it is spelt Australia :p
The funny thing is that Australia is my home country but one that I have rarely photographed and even then, it has always been of railway related material but here we go...
Rozelle yard is to the west of the Sydney CBD and is on the river which runs through the harbour.
It was once the sight of a large mental health institution and railways yards but now all these have gone to make way for residencial property.

The south coast of NSW (about 30 minutes to the south of Sydney) is a beautiful, relaxing coastline with mountains (known as the escartment) on the western side and the beaches (which are some of the best in Oz) on the eastern side. This image is taken from the top of the escartment looking south at Scarborough.

Griffith in a wine making area about 8hrs inland from Sydney in NSW. It is a Inland city which in 2008 I was lucky enough to visit for the first time. I will geotag the image so you can see where I am talking about.
It had one of the cleanest sunrises I have ever seen. The air was fresh... a little cold :) (14'C) in the morning but it was up to 42'C by lunch time.

Wheat and other grains (like the canola seen in the photo here) have been serious depleted in recent years because of one of the longest running droughts in our history. This year however there has been a bit more rain and the export of grain has picked up a little.
This area is called Linden View which is the name of the local farm. It is between near harden in the south of NSW.

The Sydney Opera House is located in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It was conceived and largely built by Danish architect Jørn Utzon, who in 2003 received the Pritzker Prize, architecture's highest honour.[1] The citation stated
“ There is no doubt that the Sydney Opera House is his masterpiece. It is one of the great iconic buildings of the 20th century, an image of great beauty that has become known throughout the world – a symbol for not only a city, but a whole country and continent. ”
The Opera House was made a UNESCO World Heritage Site on 28 June 2007.[2] It is one of the world's most distinctive 20th century buildings, and one of the most famous performing arts centres in the world.
The Sydney Opera House is situated on Bennelong Point in Sydney Harbour, close to the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Contrary to the implication of the name, it houses a multi-venue performing arts centre, rather than a single Opera theatre. As well as hosting many touring productions in a variety of performance genres, the Sydney Opera House is a major presenting venue for Opera Australia, The Australian Ballet, the Sydney Theatre Company and the Sydney Symphony.

This is one of the many gorgeous sunset shows that Darwin puts on each year. People bring deck chairs set them up just to watch the sun set into the warm night.
I took this one at Casuarina Coastal Reserve which protects a large coastal area between the mouth of Rapid Creek and Buffalo Creek in Darwin. The highlights of the reserve are white sandy beaches fringed by Casuarina trees and sandstone cliffs.
