Mr Ball: Really marvellous light, composition, and colour. Great dramatic clouds, and effective use of HDR.

I like the concept of this, although it seems quite dull.
Maybe more light, contrast and a more creative angle.

I really like the linear effect as well as the beautiful glow you captured from these vines.

okay, I'll comment on the previous two then...
Gilbert's photo is really interesting and has some fascinating colors even though the blue may not be entirely real (:-) ?) - I would have included the whole boat into the picture rather than just half of it.
Fatih's picture with just the purple swirls would have been a lovely abstract, but the bright pink stripes at the bottom ruin the effect.

Hmmm... not a topic that interests me (the photo above) and hard to look at this with the guns pointed right at me. Great DOF and certainly captures the size with the people in the photo adding scale. Good job including the ship bell in the foreground to identify where the photo was taken.

The daffodil is my favorite flower, it is a sign of the beginning of Spring. Your shot has a nice soft side to it, great bokeh, and the white is the purest of whites. Well done. This is the first daffodil I have seen that has the color salmon in it. I am not sure if this is a PP or there is a high grade verity, cause if there is then I want the bulbs! Very well seen.

I like this photo, because it shows alot of emotion and stands out well. I also love the simplicity of the picture

Good shot, like the vibrant red. Maybe a slightly wider crop would have shown the shape of the petals?
Really impressive folwer tho, way better than mine turn out!

its a nice pic. I like the composition, but the colors look a little washed out. If you reduce the exposure by a couple of stops, it gives a nice hue to sunset pictures, also using appropriate color balance setting on the camera allows the reds to look more sanguinous. Check out a few of my sunset pics and you know what im saying. Great effort though.

It's a spectacular shot, captures so much raw emotion from the dog. It's nice to see something other than a dog sitting and looking pretty! Well done!

the child has a pretty face, for sure. the close up makes it interesting but the crop is something i don;t understand..it leaves to much space for the cheek which looks like a white ball and hides the emotion of the eyes

a well seen photo,I like the light that comes through the leaves ,(maybe if you trim it a bit to cut the big distracting leaves and bring the light beam to the diagonial? just an idea...) the subject is interesting...and the colours aren t vivacious which gives a mystery touch...nice work

nice colours for this quiet place, but I'd rather prefer the light to come from this side and not from the opposite

Very good composition, and it carries out the theme well. I like the black and white, with just a little bit of muted color. Very nice!

The blue's add to the feeling of a cold surround while the yellows brings out the warmth of the pool.

Well. first of all, it is technically perfectly executed. I don't think I could achieve this effect, I don't have the patience.
Also, I like the tone of the water, I wonder what caused that. If I want to be picky, I would say that there isn't much I would call unique in the photo, I mean this phenomenon has probably been shot by a number of photographers. In my opinion, the strongest part of the photo is in the centre with the tiny drops of liquid. Perhaps I'd try to crop it to make them the central element, creating a vertical image, but that's just an idea.

Great use of B&W, I love the textures in the picture and the way that the fog/smog? slowly rolls into the picture. it softens things up alot and makes you focus on the foreground instead of whats going on behind them. cool picture with lots to see, you can't take it in at a glance!

A. I'm not sure what I'm looking at.
B. I have no idea why you would hold your lens on backwards.
Maybe concentrate on the basics. There are so many ways to get an interesting photo without having to resort to trickery..
FWIW I like this photo from your photostream:

That's a great macro shot! It is well focused on the animal. The plain background doesn't distract you and keeps your attention on the animal.

I love the fact this is just off centre and that the colours are closely matching between the foreground and background. I was going to say there is a bit of detail lost at the bottom of the fretboard but I think I prefer it like that.
