Leaving me breathless with beauty...

Don't measure your life by how many breaths you take, measure it by how many times you get your breath taken away. (unknown)
This is my absolutely best liked place on earth.... :))))

"If we listen with our hearts, we can hear the earth silently
singing: It's the promise of the past, It's the yield of new life,
It's the songs of the earth. They were always there Awakened by our heartbeats and nourished by our tears. That can lift our spirits
to reach for something higher within us"...

i was on your porch
the smoke sank into my skin
so i came inside to be with you
and we talked all night,
about everything we could imagine

Come said the wind to
the leaves one day,
Come o're the meadows
and we will play.
Put on your dresses
scarlet and gold,
For summer is gone
and the days grow cold.

I trust in Nature for the stable laws
Of beauty and utility. Spring shall plant
And Autumn garner to the end of time.

A Red, Red Rose (Robert Burns)
O, my Luve's like a red, red rose,
That's newly sprung in June.
O, my Luve's like a melodie
That's sweetly play'd in tune.

Love.
If you have it,
you don't need to have anything else.
If you don't have it,
it doesn't matter much what else you do have.

A Snow-White Lily
There was a snow-white lily
Grew by a cottage door:
Such a white and wonderful lily
Never was seen before.
The earth and the ether brought it
Sustenance, raiment, grace,
And the feet of the west wind sought it,
And smiled in its smiling face.
Tall were its leaves and slender,
Slender and tall its stem;
Purity, all its splendour,
Beauty, its diadem...
(Alfred Austin)

I could never explain why I love you so much,
It's your eyes, your smile, your soft gentle touch.
The first time I saw you I knew it was meant to be,
You'd spend your lifetime giving your love to me.
But I took your trust and broke your heart,
I pushed you away, forever to be apart.
The one thing I love more than life itself,
Ran away from me to be by herself.
I walk this house calling your name,
It seems so empty, not nearly the same.
I can't help but cry as I look at through your things
What hurts the most is to see your engagement ring
Sitting in it's case, inside this wooden box
I should take the key and see if it locks
And throw it in the woods, to try to ease my pain,
but it wouldn't matter, it still be the same.
All of these memories are inside my head,
sometimes I'd think I'd rather be dead.
Than to live my life without my one true love,
You're my shining star, my beautiful little dove.
I'd give everything to turn back time,
Back to the days when you were mine.
You were happy and our love was strong,
Neither of us could do no wrong.
I'm down on my knees and I'm begging you
tell me what it is I need to do.
To win back your love and rebuild our trust,
Cause to hold you again is an absolute must!

We are all angels with only one wing, and we can only fly by embracing one another. ~ Luciano de Crescenzo
I know an angel with only one wing,
with a song in her heart she has yet to sing.
She wanders without aim between earth and sky,
searching for her soulmate to help her fly.
She asked the Lord one lonely night,
With only one wing, Lord,
will I ever take flight?
The Lord then answered in his mysterious way,
The wing you are missing will find you one day.
I created my angels with only one wing,
each one a queen in search of her king.
When you see him, then you'll know why,
he too is without aim between earth and sky.
Until that time, angel, don't lose sight.
Your missing wing is searching tonight.
And when he finds you, then you'll see,
that your wings joined together will set you free...
I know an angel with only one wing,
with a song in her heart she has yet to sing.

Treat the other man's faith gently; it is all he has to believe with. His mind was created for his own thoughts, not yours or mine.

Some people come into our lives and quickly go.
Some people move our souls to dance.
They awaken us to new understanding with the passing whisper of their wisdom.
Some people make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon.
They stay in our lives for awhile,
leave footprints on our hearts,
and we are never ever the same.

Voyez, l(automne est heureux, l'hiver est heureux, la mort est heureuse. Mais il n'est pas à la portée de n'importe qui de savoir bien mourir!

joy and woe are woven fine.... a clothing for the soul divine....under every grief and pine....runs a joy with a silken twine....and when this thing we rightly know.....through the world we safely go

“The whole world is, to me, very much "alive" - all the little growing things, even the rocks. I can't look at a swell bit of grass and earth, for instance, without feeling the essential life - the things going on - within them. The same goes for a mountain, or a bit of the ocean, or a magnificent piece of old wood.” ~ Ansel Adams

A human being is part of a whole that we call universe, a part limited in time and space. We feel our thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest. A kind of optical delusion of consciousness. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to the affection for few people nearest to us. our task must be to free ourselves from the prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole nature in its beauty ... We will require a substantially new manner of thinking if mankind is to survive.
