A few minutes after the sun cleared the mountains, the dunes lit up with yellow and orange light. This sand basin below High Dune still have some early morning shadows and texture from the wind.
I do not know why the information is gone!! I took the picture with my old camara canon EOS 650D. With lens 10-18mm f/6.3 ISO 200 shutter speed 1/2500

The Stockton Beach Sand Dunes at the Anna Bay end. Had to walk in about 20 minutes to find a spot where the commercial operators hadn't disturbed the sand. Thanks for viewing.

Wind swept pattern of the sand at the sandblows at Tamal Park conservation area. such a beautiful peaceful place to spend time in winter.
The late afternoon wind has created ripples and waves in the sand leading to the large peaks shadowed from the setting sun in the Great Sand Dunes National Park, Colorado.
This was taken at the bottom of one of the windblown sand dunes at Tamala Park. Its a really quiet peaceful spot where you can be alone in nature. I loved the subtle patterns the new san made as it slipped down the face of the dune. The colours on this bright day were outstanding.
