I was only able to get off a couple shots on this car. I would have like to dissect so many angles - but it was in a parking lot and a truck pulled into spot before I could complete my shoot.
Very unique like a piece of art - with the luggage on top affixed as part of design.
The "Headlights" so pointed...and a hodgepodge of color and parts like a rat mobile.

Our family car when we were kids, now a classic, but back then a bit of a dud, not like the cool Cadillac Eldorado or Hudson Hornet. . . ! Anyone else remember first cars?

On the second Sunday of the month the very beautiful and extremely historic Queen Square in the centre of Bristol plays host to an informal car meet. All sorts and sizes appear, different every month and typically move on when either the police or the traffic wardens arrive. I hope you can see the theme I've gone for here!
(It was crowded this weekend so I struggled to get shots without people, hence the extreme close ups on some images. I was also wearing a his vis cycling jacket so apologies for the reflections you may see!
I think is is about a 1960 Oldsmobile.
Back to school this week. I hope I'll get some time to visit tonight.

There were many amazing and expensive cars at the "Retro Classics Meets Barock" at Ludwigsburg but one of the cars which attracted more attention than most of the others was a VW. Not a normal VW though but one which had been converted into a piece of art, dedicated to Woodstock and "the days of peace and music".
The volvo on the left. Have it for 2 months, have drove over 2000 miles now and i cant get over how good it is! So far hasn't gave me no problems.
This is the Volvo S40 SE SPORT T5 edition were it seems there is just 39 of these on the roads in the UK according to howmanyleft.co.uk. Not sure whats different to it than the common R-Design model. Has very nice grey leather seats which could be it.
