Humanity is a force of nature--driving Earth's oceans, landforms, ecosystems--like it or not. Can we do it well? The pool is for landscapes, not portraits, showing both nature and culture, which should be apparent in a thumbnail.

Some guidelines for submitting photos:
Wild nature without human-made habitat is out; zoos & agriculture are in.
Cities without remnant natural life are out; piers, harbors, canals are in.
Pets & kids are out; working animals are in.
Transportation is in; but not just cars, railroad engines & planes, please.
